After almost a year, Apple have finally rolled out the next generation iPhone. If you went out and purchased the previous model when it first went on sale, you'll know just how much of a dent it made in your pocket! This new model promises to be cheaper by some way. Not much fun for those of you who spent hundreds on a model which has been superceded by a much more advanced, but cheaper version just months later. So, what can you expect of the new phone? Well, design wise, you still get the funky touch screen and all the bits & pieces you had with the earlier model. However, and more crucially, you now have the benefit of 3G connection. It was something of a surprise that the original iPhone didn't have such connection, especially when one of the main features is the ability to download content from iTunes. You'll also benefit from the wonders of GPS. So if you need to know where you are in the world, you can now find out in seconds. Apple have stayed true to the stunning original design, but with a few tweaks along the way. As before, there will no doubt be a plethora of 3rd party applications available to further enhance your "phone-pleasure". With some tweaks to the camera, and some "useful" additions, this should also not disappoint. As you'd expect, the increased functionality and applications on this model do have an effect on the battery life. Check out the latest news.
